SmartglassSmartglass is a free downloadable app for mobile devices that allows you to interact with Xbox Live and your console. There is a separate app for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. The VIP membership is an add-on that increases the game roster by 5 cars, and provides exclusive in-game rewards. The VIP pack costs $19.99 regularly, or is included with the Forza Horizon 2 Day One Deluxe Edition ($79.99) or is included with the Forza Horizon Day One Ultimate Edition ($99.99). If you have the FM5 VIP installed you can purchase the VIP for $9.99 or purchase the digital download versions of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions (not applicable to disc versions). Once you own the Car Pass there is no need to download the monthly car packs as they are released; a free content update on release day will add the cars to the game and you can simply start accessing them from gameplay. Installing DLC does not automatically put the cars in your garage - you will need to transfer them from the in-game Buy Car menu. Each purchased add-on car can be added to your in-game garage one time for free, without using in-game credits. After the freebie, obtaining additional cars of the same model from the Buy Cars list will cost credits.
